LYMINGTON, NEW FOREST - HAMPSHIRE

LYMINGTON is a bustling market town with a wide variety of shops from picturesque boutiques on the cobbled quay to the larger supermarkets. The Georgian and Victorian architecture and the varied and colourful history helps to create a distinctive quaintness drawing visitors back time and again.

Much of Lymington town centre is Victorian and Georgian, with narrow cobbled streets, giving an air of quaintness. The wealth of the town at the time is represented in its architecture. The town has many shops, catering for tourists and sailing enthusiasts alike.

The village of Pennington has been absorbed into Lymington as a whole (in 1932 it was absorbed into Lymington Borough), and acts mainly as a residential suburb, and is also home to Lymington's schools.
